Andrii Săbiga, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, called on Sunday, May 24, for greater support from allies in the face of Russian aggression, following a massive attack involving over 500 drones and dozens of missiles on Kyiv. The bombings severely affected the capital's infrastructure, including the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Săbiga published images and videos on platform X, highlighting the damages suffered, and emphasized that such attacks are unprecedented since World War II.

He requested additional defensive capabilities, protection of airspace, and greater pressure on Russia, as well as firm decisions regarding Ukraine's accession to the European Union. Săbiga condemned the bombings as acts of terrorism and stated that Ukrainian diplomacy will continue to fight against Russian aggression. The Ukrainian Air Force reported that they destroyed 549 drones and 55 missiles during the attack.
