The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) announced on Wednesday that the forces of Kyiv carried out a drone and missile attack on the Russian naval base at Novorossiisk, targeting three warships, including the frigates Admiral Essen and Admiral Makarov, which were carrying Kalibr missiles.

SBU emphasized that this attack has strategic importance, serving to reduce Russia's ability to control the Black Sea.

On the same night, the port city of Novorossiisk was heavily hit, causing damage to grain export terminals and resulting in at least two casualties, including a child.

The demand for drone defense equipment has significantly increased in Russia, with private companies seeking solutions to protect their infrastructures. This trend has been stimulated by the Russian government's orders to support the private sector in developing defenses against Ukrainian attacks.
