The European Union has decided to increase the import quota for wheat from Ukraine from one million to three million tons as part of a revised trade agreement. The agreement, which covers 40 commodities, has yet to be adopted by EU member states. Quotas for sugar, barley and poultry meat have also been increased, in the context of support for Ukraine following the Russian invasion.
