Ahead of Ukraine's 34th anniversary of independence, the EU announces significant financial support, sending €4.05 billion. This includes €3.05 billion through the Ukraine Facility and €1 billion in exceptional macro-financial assistance. Since the start of the Russian invasion in February 2022, the EU has mobilized a total of €168.9 billion in humanitarian, financial and military assistance to Ukraine.
