On the occasion of the 34th Independence Day, the EU announced a new €4.7 billion financial aid package for Ukraine, including €3 billion through the Ukraine Facility and €1 billion through Macro-Financial Assistance. This support is aimed at stabilizing the economy, post-war reconstruction and reforms necessary for Ukraine's accession to the EU. Ukraine has demonstrated significant progress in implementing key reforms, despite recent challenges. Since the start of the Russian invasion, the EU has provided over €168.9 billion in diversified assistance.
