Two Ukrainian citizens, a 32-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, were arrested in southern Poland, in Katowice, on October 14, accused of espionage. They are suspected of gathering information about Poland's military potential and installing devices to secretly monitor critical infrastructure.

The spokesperson for the minister coordinating the special services, Jacek Dobrzyński, stated that the suspects collected information about Polish soldiers and the transport infrastructure that supports logistics and military aid to Ukraine. Investigators confiscated communication equipment during the arrests. If convicted, the two face up to eight years in prison.
