Hakan Fidan, the Turkish Foreign Minister, stated that Iran's strategy of indiscriminately bombing Gulf countries is "incredibly wrong." In an interview, he emphasized that Iran adopts a dangerous approach, threatening the energy infrastructure of other states when it feels threatened. Fidan mentioned that the region is going through extremely critical days following the military attacks by the US and Israel on Iran.
He highlighted that the effects of the conflict extend throughout the region and stressed the importance of forming a common position among Gulf countries to prevent the escalation of the situation. Fidan criticized Iran's bombing of countries that acted as mediators, considering that such actions increase regional risks and are detrimental both to Iran and to friendly states in the region.
