The President of the USA, Donald Trump, issued a severe threat to Iran, stating that if it tries to stop the flow of oil through the Strait of Hormuz, it will be hit by the United States "twenty times harder" than before.
Trump claimed that the USA will destroy easily attackable targets, making the reconstruction of Iran impossible. The Strait of Hormuz is a vital strategic point for global oil transport, and Trump described his warning as a "gift" to China and other nations that depend on this route.
In response, Iran stated that it will allow unrestricted passage through the Strait of Hormuz for countries that expel American and Israeli ambassadors.
Major General Ali Mohammad Naeini emphasized that the Iranian armed forces are prepared to respond to any attack from the USA or Israel, threatening that it will not allow oil exports from the region.
