In a telephone conversation lasting about an hour and 15 minutes, Donald Trump discussed with Vladimir Putin Ukraine's attacks on Russian airplanes. Putin emphasized that Russia would respond firmly to the attacks. Trump also raised the issue of Iran, insisting that it must not acquire nuclear weapons. Putin also rejected the idea of a ceasefire and accused Ukraine of terrorist attacks, calling into question the organization of a summit with Zelenski.
