This initiative comes in the context of the intensification of the Israeli offensive in Gaza City, where the civilian population is facing difficulties. Trump's support for Israel contrasts with the criticisms from some members of the Democratic Party, who voted against arms deliveries and supported the recognition of the Palestinian state. The White House has not yet commented on the information.
