The decree signed by Trump offers Qatar security guarantees similar to those in Article 5 of the NATO Treaty, declaring any armed attack against it as a threat to the security of the USA. This measure comes as compensation for a failed Israeli attack on Hamas officials in Doha. Additionally, the USA commits to collaborating with Qatar to respond quickly to any external aggression, emphasizing a policy of protecting the territorial integrity of the Arab state. This is a significant achievement, considering that other Arab countries, such as Saudi Arabia, have had similar requests rejected.
