Trump stated that he does not wish to have anything to do with Spain, emphasizing the tensions between the two countries on this issue.

The comments were made in the Oval Office, before the meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who is the first foreign leader Trump has met since the beginning of the conflict in Iran.
