US President Donald Trump has declared that the war between Israel and Iran must end, after a nearly hour-long discussion with Vladimir Putin. This is the first time Trump has explicitly called for an end to hostilities in the conflict, which has escalated recently. He also said he discussed with Putin the need to end the war in Ukraine as well. Despite his promises to end global conflicts, violence in Gaza and Ukraine continues. The Kremlin confirmed the talks between the two leaders.
