Donald Trump once again drew attention at the 2026 World Cup award ceremony, after he remained on stage alongside the players of Spain during the official photo taken after winning the trophy. Unfamiliar with the tradition that only the champion team stays in the center of the podium for the group photo, the American leader did not step back immediately, and FIFA President Gianni Infantino discreetly tried to urge him to leave the stage before the official photo was taken.
