A tragic accident occurred at the Pantheon in Rome, where a 70-year-old tourist died after falling while trying to take a selfie. Emergency teams quickly arrived at the scene, but unfortunately, they could not save the man, confirming his death. The fire department had to demolish a gate of the building to reach the victim. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the incident. The Pantheon, one of the best-preserved buildings from ancient Rome, is a major tourist attraction with a rich history, dedicated to Pope Boniface IV in the year 609. Here, numerous Italian kings and renowned artists are buried.
