A 76-year-old Romanian died in a traffic accident in Italy, after a collision between a truck and a van.

A serious accident occurred on Monday morning in the town of Rosignano Solvay, province of Livorno, Italy, resulting in the death of a 76-year-old Romanian. For reasons still unclear, a truck and a van collided violently, and the impact was fatal for the van driver.

Witnesses of the tragedy called the emergency number 112 around 9:30 AM, and rescue teams responded promptly, including the Pegaso air rescue service. Unfortunately, the doctors could not save the man's life, declaring him dead at the scene. The local police have launched an investigation to reconstruct the circumstances of the accident and determine the exact causes of the collision, according to the publication La Nazione.
