This phenomenon is related to climate changes caused by human activity, which intensifies heat waves. Meteorologists warn that, although they cannot directly correlate a heatwave episode with long-term climate changes, global warming contributes to extreme weather phenomena. In addition, Japan has experienced record rainfall recently, with the summers of 2023 and 2024 being the hottest on record.
