Three drones were detected above the Belgian Nuclear Power Plant Doel, according to an announcement made by the energy company Engie. The incident occurred on Sunday evening and, although it raised concerns, it had no impact on the operation of the nuclear plant. Engie informed the authorities about the incident, and a company spokesperson confirmed the details.

Additionally, the sighting of a drone led to the temporary suspension of operations at the Liège airport, highlighting a series of recent drone-related incidents in the area. Engie continues to monitor the situation to ensure the safety of operations.
