A part of the White House was demolished to build the future ballroom of American President Donald Trump, intended for official events.

The ballroom, with a cost estimate of 250 million dollars, will have an area of over 8,000 square meters and will be able to host up to 1,000 people, being intended for official dinners and other large-scale events. The construction will replace the current east wing, which houses the First Lady's offices, and will benefit from private funding, including from major corporations such as Amazon and Apple. Trump stated that the White House wing will be modernized and will be more beautiful than ever.
