The Ministry of Defence of the United Kingdom has announced the development of tactical ballistic missiles Nightfall, intended for Ukraine. These missiles will have a range of over 500 km and will be able to carry a warhead of 200 kg. The project aims to boost the British defense industry and support Ukraine in the face of Russian threats. Each missile will cost approximately 930,000 euros, and production will be 10 missiles per month.

Nightfall will enable Ukrainian forces to strike military targets quickly, before Russia can react. The project is based on the United Kingdom's commitment to support Ukraine and will involve three companies, each receiving nearly 11 million euros for the development of the missiles. The deadline for development proposals is February 9, 2026, and contracts will be awarded in March 2026.
