The Kremlin declared on Monday that the United Kingdom's decision to provide Ukraine with classified information about Scalp cruise missiles is perceived negatively and "adds fuel to the fire" in the context of the conflict.

British Prime Minister Andy Burnham, on his first official visit to Kyiv, announced support for improving domestic missile production. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov accused the UK of fueling the conflict and hindering progress towards a peace agreement.

Peskov also mentioned that the Russian army will identify and destroy missile production units. Moscow had previously warned London about "consequences" in the event of supplying drones to Ukraine, highlighting the intensification of British involvement in the war.

Burnham reaffirmed the UK's commitment to support Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression.
