The Independent International Commission of Inquiry of the UN has published a report accusing Russian forces of the systematic use of drones to hunt and displace civilians in Ukraine. These attacks, carried out over a stretch of 300 kilometers in the regions of Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, and Mykolaiv, have occurred for more than a year and are considered crimes against humanity.
The report details how Russian drones have targeted unarmed civilians, struck civilian buildings, and aimed at emergency crews, including ambulances marked with humanitarian symbols. The conclusions were drawn based on 226 interviews with victims and witnesses, as well as verified video recordings.
