In February at Oxford Royal Court, the prosecutor detailed a spectacular burglary on September 14, 2019, when five men broke into Blenheim Palace in stolen vehicles. They smashed a door and snatched a 98-pound toilet insured for $6 million, leaving the scene within five minutes. The toilet was likely dismantled and sold, and the gold was not recovered. James Sheen received four years in prison and Michael Jones was sentenced to 27 months.
