The two suspects, aged around 30 and originally from Seine-Saint-Denis, are believed to have been part of a group of four criminals who broke into a museum using a truck equipped with a lift. The thieves, dressed in yellow vests and motorcycle gear, smashed the window leading to the Apollo gallery and stole jewelry estimated to be worth 88 million euros. Prosecutor Laure Beccuau stated that there is hope for the recovery of the jewelry, and the analysis of the evidence left by the thieves, including DNA and fingerprints, could provide important leads.
