The Paris prosecutor, Laure Beccuau, announced the arrest of five people, including a main suspect, in the investigation regarding the Louvre break-in. She specified that one of the suspects was already on the authorities' radar. The stolen jewelry, estimated at 88 million euros, has not yet been recovered. Two men, aged 34 and 39, have been charged with "organized gang theft and conspiracy to commit a crime" and have been incarcerated. The investigation continues in search of the stolen goods.
