The U.S. Secret Service announced on Sunday that it is investigating reports of gunfire near Lafayette Park, located across from the White House. The incident occurred during the night, but no injuries were reported and no suspects were identified following the search of the park and the surrounding area. Activities at the White House continued as normal, but security in the area was heightened. Donald Trump, who was spending the weekend at the White House, did not immediately comment on the incident.
