The Deloitte report, carried out with UNHCR, highlights the positive impact of Ukrainian refugees on the Polish economy, with a 2.7% contribution to GDP. They not only improve the labor supply, but also increase consumer demand, with 69% of them employed. The report contradicts accusations by nationalists that Ukrainians are taking advantage of Poland, pointing out that they contribute more to the state budget than they receive in aid. Poland has simplified the registration process for Ukrainian firms, making it easier for them to integrate into the economy.
