The pilot of the boat that capsized in Musura Bay, causing the death of four people, including a child, has been sent to trial for manslaughter.

The 34-year-old soldier, an employee of the Ministry of Defense, is facing charges of manslaughter in aggravated form after the boat he was piloting capsized, causing the death of four passengers. Prosecutors accuse him of having embarked more people than was allowed and of ignoring warnings from meteorologists. The case will be tried in the Military Court, and the defendant's lawyer is requesting additional evidence to clarify the circumstances of the tragedy. The victims' relatives are seeking damages of 600,000 euros.
