A serious traffic accident occurred in a locality in Maramureș, resulting in the death of a 58-year-old man and the injury of his 30-year-old nephew, who is in critical condition at the County Emergency Hospital in Baia Mare. The car involved overturned, ruptured a gas pipe, and caught fire. Among the survivors is a police officer, who was found with a blood alcohol level of 0.55. Although witnesses claim that he was driving the vehicle, he did not admit his guilt during the hearings. The three men were coming from the Hunters' Ball and were heading home at the time of the accident. The police continue investigations to establish the exact circumstances of the incident.
