Three people, including a child, were involved in a boating accident on the Danube, in Galați, with one adult being found unconscious.

On Friday evening, a naval accident occurred on the Danube, in Galați, when a vessel with three occupants (two adults and a child) collided with a barge in the Romportmet area. The Galați Emergency Situations Inspectorate was called to intervene, and the vessel was brought to shore by a ship from the Galați River Administration. Of the three victims, one adult was found unconscious, while the other child and the other adult were conscious and were medically evaluated. Rescue teams, including special vehicles, SMURD crews, and Border Police vessels, intervened at the scene. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
