The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) of Romania issued a travel advisory on Tuesday for Romanian citizens who are in or intend to travel to the United Kingdom, due to major traffic disruptions at the Channel Tunnel (Eurotunnel). These disruptions are caused by a power supply failure, which has led to the cancellation of several Eurostar services. Following these cancellations, the LeShuttle road transport service is experiencing severe delays. The MAE recommends that citizens check the situation in real-time on the official websites of Eurostar and LeShuttle and follow the instructions of staff at train stations and bus terminals. Romanian citizens can request consular assistance through the phone numbers of the Romanian General Consulate in London, and for emergency situations, an emergency phone number is available.
