Avrotros, the Dutch audiovisual association, has declared that it will not participate in Eurovision 2026 as long as Israel is part of the European Broadcasting Union. The decision comes in the wake of criticism regarding Israel's actions in Gaza and political interference in the competition. The Netherlands thus joins Spain and Ireland, which have announced similar intentions, emphasizing that participation would only be possible if Israel is excluded.
