Ice & Snow World, the 27th edition of the largest winter theme park in the world, will open its doors on December 17 in Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang province in China. The park covers an impressive area of 1.2 million square meters, using 400,000 cubic meters of ice and snow. This year's theme is "Ice and Snow, a Fairy Tale World," and the park will include three main landscape axes, a themed parade, an outdoor stage, and a new 5,000 square meter installation.
Technology plays an important role, with smart lighting and interaction through artificial intelligence. The park will also host a series of events, including the opening ceremony of the International Ice and Snow Festival, ice sculpture competitions, snow football matches, and a New Year's concert. Harbin also promotes other winter attractions, such as the Sun Island Snow Expo and Ice and Snow Carnival, which offer a diverse experience for visitors.
