Dmitri Peskov, the spokesperson for the Kremlin, stated that American President Donald Trump could be invited to the military parade in Moscow, which marks Victory Day in World War II.
Peskov mentioned that they will discuss Trump's participation. He emphasized the importance of the commemorative events, recalling that large-scale demonstrations recently took place in Moscow, where President Putin received numerous foreign guests.
Peskov added that these commemorations provide a framework for bilateral contacts. Last year, Russia marked the 80th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany, with a parade attended by Chinese leader Xi Jinping, while most Western leaders boycotted the event.
