In a message published on platform X, the heir of Iran, Reza Pahlavi, drew attention to the massive protests in Iran and the harsh repression measures applied by the Islamic regime. He highlighted the courage of millions of Iranians who took to the streets, facing real bullets, and mentioned a total communications blackout imposed by the authorities, which complicates the organization of protests. Pahlavi accused the supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, of intending to use this situation to brutally suppress young protesters. In his message, he called on the leader at the White House to be prepared to intervene to help the Iranian people, emphasizing the importance of timing in the context of the protests. These began at the end of December in response to the economic crisis but quickly spread throughout the country, reflecting deep dissatisfaction with the clerical regime. The authorities responded with violence, using tear gas and ammunition against the protesters.
