The Swiss police confirmed on Monday that they have identified all the individuals affected by the devastating fire at the Le Constellation bar in Crans Montana, which occurred on New Year's Eve. In the aftermath of the tragedy, 40 people died, and 119 were injured, of which 83 are still hospitalized. Among the injured are citizens from several countries, including Switzerland, France, and Italy. The identification of the victims was complicated due to the severity of the burns, forcing families to provide DNA samples. Investigators suspect that festive candles with fireworks caused the fire, and the bar managers are under investigation for involuntary manslaughter and other charges. Italian authorities have repatriated the bodies of five victims.
