The new sanctions package, which could become the 19th since the beginning of the invasion in 2022, will include measures against Russian payment systems, cryptocurrency platforms, and oil trade. The European Union is collaborating with the United States to coordinate these actions, hoping to persuade Russia to negotiate peace. Moscow, already affected by previous sanctions, has found ways to mitigate their impact through trade with third countries.
