A raccoon entered a store in Virginia, USA, broke bottles of drinks and drank from them, later being found asleep in the bathroom.

At the end of last week, an unusual incident occurred in an alcohol store in Virginia, where a raccoon broke in, smashed several bottles, and started consuming alcohol. The police were alerted the next day, and Officer Martin discovered an aisle full of broken bottles and a strong smell of alcohol. The raccoon, described as "very intoxicated," was found sleeping in the bathroom, between the toilet and the trash can.

After being transported to the animal shelter to recover, it was released into the wild, hoping, we assume, that breaking in is not a solution. The incident was not captured by surveillance cameras. The store appreciated the police intervention to help the "uninvited guest."
