An American singer is among the six deceased in the plane crash in Brazil / Oliver Tree was supposed to have a concert in Bucharest

The American musician Oliver Tree died at the age of 32 on Sunday in Rio de Janeiro, where two helicopters collided in the air in the Recreio dos Bandeirantes area, according to sources cited by The Guardian. All six people on board, including Tree, died.

After the impact in the air, one of the helicopters fell onto a car dealership, causing a fire that was extinguished by firefighters.

Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the causes of the accident.

Oliver Tree, known for hits like "Life Goes On" and "Miss You," was in Brazil for a world tour, with over 70 concerts scheduled in 30 countries. In September, he had a concert scheduled in Bucharest as well.

Recently, he shared a video on Instagram in which he was playing football in a Brazilian neighborhood.

In 2024, he was nominated for the Brit international award for the song "Miss You," which reached number 3 on the UK singles chart.
