A U.S. Congress committee is investigating Starlink for connections to fraud centers in Myanmar.

The joint Senate-House Commission of the American Congress has begun an investigation into Starlink, Elon Musk's company, to analyze its involvement in providing internet connections to fraud centers in Myanmar. These centers, accused of extorting billions of dollars globally, have started using Starlink receivers, quickly becoming the largest internet provider in the country. Drone footage shows rows of Starlink antennas on new buildings in the secured complexes located near the border with Thailand.
