The Israeli Defense Forces launched attacks on infrastructure in Tehran, causing destruction in a residential area, according to the Iranian agency SNN. At the same time, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia repelled drone attacks, including one on Kuwait International Airport. The Iranian Revolutionary Guards announced a new wave of attacks against Israel and American bases in the region. In this context, President Trump stated that the U.S. is in negotiations to end the war in the Middle East, which has led to a global energy crisis. Washington sent Iran a 15-point plan for discussions, which could include the dismantling of the Iranian nuclear program and the cessation of support for allied groups. Pakistan has offered to host peace talks, while the Pentagon is preparing to send additional troops to the region, amplifying fears of escalating conflict.
