The Russian press omitted references to Moscow in Nicușor Dan's message about the downed drone.

Russian news agencies TASS and RIA Novosti published truncated versions of President Nicușor Dan's statement regarding the drone shot down by an F-16 aircraft in Romanian airspace.

In their reports, they omitted the passages in which the head of state specified that the previously downed drone was identified as a Shahed type, used by the Russian Federation, as well as the announcement regarding a diplomatic protest from Romania and the condemnation of the repeated violation of Romanian airspace.

In contrast, the Russian agencies only retained information about the military intervention and the unfolding of investigations, without mentioning the accusations directed at Moscow.
