The Swedish town of Göten has started a campaign to sell land at reduced prices in a bid to attract new residents. Buyers are not subject to strict rules but must commit to building on the land within two years. The campaign started recently and already three plots have been sold, with several people showing interest. Similar initiatives have been launched in other Swedish towns and cities.
