Police in Neuss, Germany, confiscated a suspicious object found by a passerby early in the evening in the area of the complex in the Gohr district. The nature of the object has not been determined, and analyses are still ongoing. According to the authorities, it may have been a launching device.

Information published by Bild indicates the discovery of devices for launching homemade rockets, to which timers and copper wires had allegedly been attached. The police have not officially confirmed these details and stated that no incident occurred, and it is unclear whether the object could have caused damage.

In addition to the suspicious object, investigators also received a claim of responsibility letter, which mentions other cases such as the one in North Rhine-Westphalia and Brandenburg.

The officers also checked other substations in neighboring regions. With the exception of a substation in Bergheim, west of Cologne, no damage was identified.
