The agreement provides for a temporary reduction in salaries and will apply between September 1 and January 31. The Mirafiori plant, known for the Fiat brand, is facing a prolonged decline, and Stellantis intends to revitalize the factory by launching a hybrid version of the Fiat 500 model. The Fiom-CGIL union has requested the urgent allocation of a new model to ensure the continuity of production, considering that Stellantis's car production in Italy has reached its lowest level in the last seven decades.
