The CEO of SoftBank, Masayoshi Son, stated that the artificial intelligence revolution has a potential impact up to 50 times greater than the dot-com boom of the early 2000s. The statement was made after the company announced a €75 billion investment in the development of artificial intelligence infrastructure in France, including the construction of next-generation data centers by 2031. According to Son, Europe needs massive investments in this field to remain competitive, and France has the potential to become a European hub for artificial intelligence-based technologies.
