Slovakia has decided to close all border control posts with Ukraine for security reasons.

The customs administration in Bratislava announced on Wednesday that the border with Ukraine will be closed, with all checkpoints suspended until further notice.

The decision was made as a result of Russian bombings that took place on the Ukrainian city of Uzhhorod, located near the border. This measure reflects security concerns in the context of the military conflict in the region and underscores the intensification of tensions between Ukraine and Russia.
