Dozens of police, divers, military and sailors are taking part in the rescue operation, but poor visibility and difficult weather conditions are hampering efforts. The government has announced the recovery of the wreckage and corrections to the death toll, with the number of casualties revised to 35 and passengers to 49. Witnesses describe how the storm hit suddenly, causing the boat to capsize due to extreme winds, resulting in the worst accident of its kind in recent years.
