Saint Petersburg attacked by drones: civilian infrastructure targeted. Wildberries warehouses affected.

The governor of St. Petersburg, Aleksandr Beglov, stated that the city was attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles targeting civilian infrastructure.

According to images and information from local media, the attack targeted the warehouses of the online retail company Wildberries, which has already been attacked twice in recent days. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Wildberries of storing components under sanctions for military equipment.

Following the attack, Wildberries announced the temporary suspension of operations at two warehouses in St. Petersburg. This action is part of a broader campaign by Ukraine, which has intensified attacks on remote Russian cities in retaliation for Russian bombings during the invasion that began in February 2022.

The campaign has targeted Russia's oil infrastructure, contributing to a fuel crisis in the country. Approximately 90% of Russia's regions are facing fuel rationing or shortages.
