The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine announced that the electricity supply has been almost completely interrupted in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions due to Russian attacks. Hospitals and other critical locations are operating on backup power, and emergency teams are working intensively to restore electricity, water, and heating supply. Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba confirmed that repairs are underway, while officials in Zaporizhia are using alternative energy sources for water supply. Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko warned that snowfall and low temperatures will worsen the situation. In the city of Dnipro, the metro has been halted, and the school holiday has been extended by two days. Authorities could not estimate when the electricity supply will be restored. The governor of Zaporizhia mentioned that the interruptions have affected air raid sirens, and residents are urged to avoid using mobile phone networks.
